Nadzvedni is an item to be given to someone for a heroic act when words, like thank you, are not enough. With this kind of present, a giver can also show concern for the future of the receiver. The name “nadzvedni“ translates “lift“ in the Czech language and therefore encourages the holder to lift the brass weight.
It may be a symbolic act of lightening the daily burdens of life and perhaps the weight of responsibility and the expectations of others, which a person, who had made an honourable act may feel.
There is a message hidden in the dent under the weight, it says you are not alone.

You are never alone.
